Award-winning landscape design, installation, and maintenance company, Hood Landscaping, Inc. has an opportunity available for an experienced Irrigation Technician Supervisor to lead our Irrigation Sales and Services team. Part-time or full-time opportunities available.

Irrigation Supervisor

Compensation ranges from $27-35/hr DOE.

Hood Landscaping, Inc. provides challenging work that requires unique problem-solving skills in a fast paced, fun environment.

Our clients include residential and commercial properties in Summit County, Colorado.

Previous experience in the irrigation sector is mandatory. Complete knowledge of backflow preventers, smart controllers, water pressure, volume, and head spacing is essential.

Previous supervision of team members is preferred.

Previous heavy equipment experience a plus.

Responsibilities based on skill level: 

  • Effective client communication and care
  • Managing the activation and winterizing of irrigation systems
  • Irrigation system checks
  • Irrigation repairs
  • Copper work
  • Hydraulic troubleshooting
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to stay current on irrigation technologies
  • Willingness and ability to use our systems to draft irrigation installation and repair proposals
  • Managing inventory and irrigation supply allocations
  • Valid driver’s license

Good attitude • Punctual • Teachable • Honest/Trustworthy • Values client satisfaction • Communicates effectively while performing the duties of this job • The position is regularly exposed to outdoor environmental conditions including extreme hot and cold conditions • Heavy lifting of 50 lbs., bending and crawling may be required • Digging in rocky terrain with hand tools may be required • Due to seasonal nature of work, overtime may be required • Applicant must currently reside in Summit County or in nearby commutable area.
